Inspired by Aldous Huxley’s The Doors of Perception, this original geometric abstract painting explores the threshold between ordinary awareness and infinite visionary reality. Swirling cosmic dots heading into the keyhole symbolising another dimension, a sweeping red arc part the veil on a turquoise field, connecting to a framed inner world of layered rectangles symbolising a door. Vibrant coloured blocks, and energetic lines – like frequency spikes revealing the unfiltered essence of existence. Textured gradients in blues, warm oranges, yellows, and blacks evoke transcendence, pattern over form, and the sacred “is-ness” beyond ego. A lit up keyhole opens up for the journey of orbs from another world.
